"The plus size modeling industry has come to a fork in the road. We have those that want to incorporate all models, and while this sounds nice - the intent is to get rid of REAL plus size models and to have models sizes 6, 8, 10 and 12 represent the PLUS SIZE modeling industry. Yes, ladies.. this is what is going on. This WILL happen if you, the consumer, does not speak up about what you want to see and will not tolerate. Your dollars SPEAK! Your emails, tweets and comments on FB speak. Share this with all your friends and ask your brands and designers to use plus size models that speak to you."

While I’m not sure of my stance where “plus size models” should start as far as the size, I am seeing their argument. Lately all I see in the “curvy” section of a magazine or fashion on plus size sites, the models look smaller…no in a sense that they adon’t deserve to be represented, of coarse, I believe they’re gorgeous…but what about the variety? Plus size models that are size 12+. What do you guys think? If you do think the same, voice in numbers brings change. Speak up and people will sure follow.
